Welcome.
Since you have found yourself on my website, I assume that you are looking for a translator, interpreter, subtitler or proofreader. Let me convince you that I am the one for you. 🙂
In 2022, I graduated from the Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting in the combination of English and Russian at the University of Constantine the Philosopher in Nitra. In 2019 I did a two-month language internship in Moscow.
During my studies I was already gaining experience, I worked for several translation agencies, mainly as a translator and subtitler. In 2022, I participated as an interpreter in the doctoral conference Tradition and Innovation in Translatological Research, organised by the CPU.
What can I offer you?
I mainly focus on translation, subtitling and proofreading. My current areas of expertise include mainly professional texts, such as translation of general medical texts (extensive experience in translating medical devices for an Austrian company), translation of manuals, instructions, translation of websites, media texts, business correspondence, IT, art, etc. I specifically focus on marketing translation for an Estonian agency.
Do you need a film subtitled or a dubbing list translated? You are in the right place. Every year since 2021, I have been participating as a subtitler for the One World Festival. I also focus on subtitling for the hearing and visually impaired (audio commentary). I have translated dubbing credits for many children’s cartoons, religious series, true crime, etc. For a detailed list, check out the Movies and TV series section, don’t be afraid to explore it.
You can also contact me if you are not sure about the quality of your work (seminary, bachelor’s, diploma, etc.) in terms of grammar, stylistic and formal aspects. I have been proofreading theses and translating abstracts for more than three years and have dozens of satisfied customers and clients.
I’m a huge bookworm who not only reads books, but also translates them. You can find out more about my translation (and book) experience so far HERE.
Since translation is primarily a sedentary job, I try to compensate for that with my hobbies – I practice yoga, cycle, hike, travel a lot, learn other foreign languages, which helps me grow professionally and as a person. 🙂
If I have convinced you, please feel free to contact me by email b.lieskovanova@gmail.com or by phone(+421 908 548 774), where we can agree on a possible cooperation.
